Lost Child

[Little Luke is humming to himself, picking at the grass slightly and playing with the flowers; every flower he touches seems to shimmer momentarily with more life, but returns to normal when his touch is gone. Every now and then, he'll pluck a flower very carefully from the ground with a little smile and place it into a neat little pile, mumbling something along the lines of, "Flower for mama," before humming once again.

The look in his eyes is a little sad and understanding, much too much for a child of his age. But he just keeps on going, in spite of whatever it is he understands.]

[ Cute younger self, meet older derp self! Luke here is taking a leisurely stroll with his thumbs hooked on his belt and face turned upwards, enjoying the sunshine. It's for this reason the other redhead goes unnoticed until Luke almost literally stumbles upon him and only avoids doing so by throwing his weight sideways, landing amongst the sea of flowers with a shout. ]

Uwaah! Mama's flowers! [DDDD:

Wait, was that a person?] Mister! Mister, are you okay?

Ugh.. Ow. That... really hurts. [ It was a person. Though Luke is beginning to think the fall snapped him in half. ] Oh, I'm just fine and dandy. You alright?

Uh huh... [The kid's frowning a bit, though.]

[ Okay, now who did he trip over? A kid. That doesn't seem too pleased with him. More than that... ] --whoa! It's a tiny me!

Huh? Nuh-uh, I'm me! [And now he's going to reach for some of the poor, crushed flowers.] You hurt the flowers I was gonna give to mama...

Yeah, but..! [ Oh never mind. Have a flail as he hurries to stand up and get off said flowers. Pleasedontcrypleasedontcry... ] S-sorry about that... I can, uh, help you gather more for her?

[:O] Really? [Suddenly, you have a tiny person attached to your legs! :D] Mama really likes flowers, 'cause they're pretty like her and they smell real nice. And they make her smile, and I like when mama smiles.

For Mother? Haha! Guess I shouldn't be too surprised. [ What the. Pint-sized cling on! Oh goodness, don't tip over Luke! D8 ] Sure, you better believe I'll give you a hand if it means making Mother smile.

[Luke's gonna just continue humming and playing with the flowers... until he suddenly exclaims:] Aha! This one's for mama, too! [And he plucks the flower all carefully with a nice and happy giggle, setting it nicely with the flowers he's picked and going back to humming.]

[He blinks a couple of times before looking up and up, and up because small kid is small at Alexei, then smiles brightly.] Uh-huh! But Big Brother's gonna come get me soon! I think...

...Mieu? [This little cheagle was getting a bit lost when he found the flowers. When he sees Luke he runs over to him, but when he actually gets there he looks up at him curiously.]

[Luke tilts his head before reaching out to Mieu with a biiiiiig bright smile; he thinks you're a strange kitty or something.] Ooh, a kitty. Hi, kitty!
